Alex, a graduate of the University of Arizona with a background in botany and biology, brings a unique perspective to floral and event design. Her scientific training allows her to approach design with a deep understanding of plant life and natural elements. With years of experience planning large-scale weddings, quinceañeras, and milestone birthday parties, Alex excels at managing every aspect of event logistics and design. Whether it’s curating a grand floral installation or designing a sophisticated layout, Alex’s strategic planning ensures every event flows smoothly, no matter the scale.

Colleen LaFleur is a trendsetter in the world of event design, blending her passion for plants with a knack for creating unforgettable experiences. With a BAS in Horticulture from the University of Illinois, specializing in greenhouse management and the annual production of cut flowers for the floral industry, Colleen’s expertise is rooted in both beauty and functionality. Her career has taken her from leading fundraising efforts as the Director of Development at the Chicago and Tucson Botanic Gardens to becoming a sought-after floral designer and founder of LaFleur Events.
She studied under the renowned Al Mendoza and earned her title- Master Florist. Her work has graced the pages of Architectural Digest, Sunset Magazine, Flower Magazine, and The Knot, with online publications like Style Me Pretty and Magnolia Rouge praising her modern, fresh aesthetic. Known for thinking outside the box, Colleen produces one-of-a-kind events that leave a lasting impression. When she's not crafting floral designs or exercising her green thumb, you’ll find her hiking, camping, paddle boarding, or cycling with her husband, all while exploring the beauty of the Sonoran Desert.
